Health and Wellbeing
At WARURA, we recognise that the role of a Match Official extends beyond the field.

The unique pressures and challenges faced, ranging from public scrutiny to the emotional demands of officiating can significantly impact mental health.
Recent studies highlight that verbal and physical abuse from players, coaches, and spectators are prevalent issues contributing to stress and burnout among officials. Despite this, mental health support for Match Officials has often been overlooked.

We are committed to changing this narrative
By providing education, fostering open dialogue, and offering tailored support, we aim to create a safe and resilient environment for all of our Match Officials.
Your wellbeing is our priority
Together we can ensure that the mental health of Match Officials is given the attention and care it deserves.
